Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating

By Abida Jaigirdar

Published May 25th 2021

A staple of young adult romance literature is the fake dating trope. This story follows Hani and Ishu as they pretend to date. Both have something to gain from it as Ishu wants to become head girl and hopes Hani’s popularity can help her achieve that and Hani has recently come out to her friends as a bisexual but they don’t believe her as she’s never dated a girl.
