DIY Valentines Day Gifts

I don’t know about you, but coming up with gift ideas can be a little bit of a struggle. So I have decided to come up with a list of great gift ideas that are homemade (to bring out the crafter in you)!

1. A CD- Homemade CDs are like our generations’ equivalent to making a Spotify playlist, however, you can decorate the covers of CDs, and it’s always nice to have a hard copy of music. They’re especially nice to keep in the car, as it keeps you from changing with the radio or anything like that.

Here’s a wikihow on how to do it:

2. A Mug- A mug made from clay is a super fun way to make personalized drinkware! You can carve decoration or words to make it unique to the recipient. It should be noted that you should not use air dry clay for this, as that is toxic to ingest. This can also be used to make anything out of clay, not just a mug.

Here’s instructions on how to do it without needing a kiln:

3. A Macrame Wall Hanging- I’m always looking for room decor, and macrame wall hangings are so cool! It’s such an interesting way to decorate an empty space in your room, and they are pretty easy to make.

4. A candle- I don’t know about you, but nothing puts me in a more relaxed mood than a nice candle. Candles can come in a variety of colors and scents, so they are perfect to cater to anyone! And they are surprisingly easy to make.

5. Homemade Salsa- Salsa is such a yummy side dish, which is very simple to make. Not only is it simple, it’s delicious, as well. There are thousands of different recipes on the internet, or you can come up with your own. The options are endless! As an easy way to gift, try sealing it in a mason jar.

Those are my five ideas! Hopefully they helped you out a bit, and if not, the internet is at your fingertips!
