Christmas with Covid

Yearly Serotonin

Whether it’s your favorite holiday or not, we can agree that there is a warm feeling that comes around this time of year. There’s just something about the glowing trees and catchy carols that never get old. I personally enjoy Christmas because it reminds me of when I was little and I would try to stay up to catch Santa but always failed. With millions of Christmas traditions, it is very obvious how different things will be because of Coronavirus, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the beauty of Christmas!

Keeping Tradition

Despite being restricted from seeing certain family members, Christmas traditions can still withstand Covid requirements.

Thanks to today’s technology, connecting with a distant family has never been easier. All your loved ones are only one click away. Having a get together over Zoom or video chatting with family over the holidays can be just as fun. Whether it’s watching movies together on a shared screen, playing a virtual game together, or even having a small group of friends over for an “ugly mask party” (instead of an ugly sweater party) would be fun activities for the holidays!

Safety first

As frustrating as the Covid outbreak may be, it is important that we do what we can to make a change in the rising cases. Even if that means wearing a mask, staying inside more often, or just being socially distant, the faster we take precautions, the sooner things can go back to normal. Regardless, this Christmas will definitely be something to remember. Happy Holidays!
