The OMHS varsity volleyball team kicked off their season with their first game at home on Thursday, August 22nd at 6:00 against Bayside Academy from Daphne, Alabama.  I am one of the four seniors on the team and I think that I speak for all of them when I say that we appreciate the support from everyone who comes out to watch. Speaking of the seniors, I asked the rest of them some questions about the season.Josie Ohlson, a senior who has been in the Oak Mountain High School volleyball program for all four years rsaid, “This season is going to be very fun and our team will be successful because we are good at adjusting to things, even if it raises other issues we will keep adjusting until we get it right.” Tayler Collier, another senior who has been in the volleyball program for all four years responded said that the team has been preparing for the season and “We’ve been more intense with our energy getting closer to the games, and we’ve been pushing ourselves, so that that way, we’ll be ready for any and everything.” When asked what she likes most about the program, Lilly Yeatman, another senior who as been in the volleyball program for the whole four years, stated, “I like the competitiveness the most!”
